Pastor Nana Yaw Boakye (MOG) who is a renowned Gospel artist in Ghana and beyond. On the 22nd of January announced on his Instagram page the recording of his third album.
According to MOG, he is yet to release his most ambitious and intimate project to dubbed – Better Me.
The fore-bearer of the New Wine concert and the under current in integrating urban music into modern praise and worship, will be gathering into one room a world-class group of musicians and singers, including worship leaders of various cultures from around the nations.
MOG is a known voice in the Contemporary music circles and he has had the opportunity to share the same stage with some great international Gospel artist like Ron Kenoly, Alvin Slaughter and Uche Agu of double double fame.
MOG as he’s affectionately called embarked on an epic week of in-studio live recording, showing how much he has his fans at heart. The result is a universal Kingdom sound of worship.
Three years running and two albums already to his credit , Better Me which is a 14 track album is being produced by Byte production and Eugene Kevin Yanful and featuring powerful co-musicians like Ohemaa Mercy, Nii Okai, Calvis Hammond, KingzKid, Micheal Stuckey from the Unites States of America and many more, in a compelling collection of music, marked by congregational Praise and Worship, and filled with promise to impact the world for the glory of God.
MOG’S first project, New Wine, earned him an African gospel music awards nomination for Album of the year and the Ghana Gospel Music Awards nomination as Discovery of the year.
He has since received multiple accolades for his kind of craft. And also has the opportunity to feature on song with Micheal Stuckey who is also a Gospel artist in the USA.
The Better Me album will be recorded LIVE at the Royalhouse Chapel International Ahenfie, Obetsebi Lamptey roundabout at 5:30pm on the 2nd of March. Be sure to join the saints in worship at no cost at all.
