Kida The Great ‘kills’ freestyle dance to Asante The Alpha’s ‘167’

Even though his ‘167’ featuring Chevvalier and N.Y. Asanteni song and video is yet to create a big buzz here, US based Ghanaian hiphop rapper Asante The Alpha has been recognised by Kida The Great.

Kida The Great, first made a name for himself when a video of him in a dance battle went viral on YouTube. He was crowned the winner of season 13 of So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation in 2016 and has had top music acts posting his freestyle videos.
 
Kida The Great dancing moves has earned interview spots on TV shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Queen Latifah Show, Rachael Ray, Battlefield America, a number of commercials and music videos appearances of artistes such as Chris Brown, Usher and more.
 
Leon Akida Burns aka Kida The Great posted an incredible display of himself dancing to Asante The Alpha’s ‘167’, on his Instagram page a few days ago. The video has already racked up over 523,661 views views as of February 26th.

Kida The Great has a significant following on Instagram with 1.7 million followers, so the video has understandably gone viral already. 

So, keep your eyes out for Asante The Alpha. His career is well on it’s way up, and don’t be surprise if he gets more ‘shout out’ from more international acts.

Recently named a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Africa, Dawuni also performed at the United Nations Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya as well as at the UN Palace of Nations in Geneva for the World Health Organization’s (WHO) “Breathe Life” concert which was held in Geneva, Switzerland.
