Album Review: We unveil Becca’s Unveiling album

Try steam rolling through Zylofon Media signee Becca’s Unveiling album and see if you won’t come out with some of the songs on de facto playing on your lips.

The album is good to listen and great to buy, this goes especially to you the free downloaders go and buy it!

To the Unveiling album itself, Becca has put together a great body of work which consists of new songs and songs she’s released over a three-year period with the collaboration with Ice Prince being the oldest as it was released back in June 2015.

This doesn’t take away the joy and fulfilment when you listen to the Unveiling. With almost every genre -bar country music- being present (Mansing Angel has been missed), Becca’s Unveiling is one that has all the major sweet tooth covered. Let’s dig in then shall we.

Number 1’ featuring Mr Eazi opens the album with good afro beats vibes. No need going on and on about Mr. Eazi, you already know.  Becca features Kofi Kinaata on the next song titled ‘Don’t Know’ and the Fante rapper didn’t disappoint with his flows and wordplay. Well well, who do we see here, it’s Patoranking.

We all do know the major hit ‘Na Wash’ with Becca, yes that chart topping hit is on the album as song number 3. Your player should move to ‘You and I’ before getting to ‘Crazy’ as track number 4 and 5. Flash into track number 6 and be wowed as Becca features her Zylofon Media mate, Stonebwoy on this reggae influenced song ‘With You’.

‘With You’ bluntly put is a song which seeks to communicate the unflinching love that two people share by further proclaiming that they will be with each other. “I’m in love with you and you know” perfectly sums it up.

At number 6 is the highlife theme ‘Mi Ne Waa’. The song is just super. A super highlife piece that will endear itself to anyone who gets the album, look ‘Mi Ne Waa’ is just great. ‘Beshiwo‘ featuring Bisa Kdei follows next and we all know the song, in fact we can all sing along to its chorus.

Summy3’ talks about her being the pillow that you deserve, Becca is on some different love level here. ‘Mo’ is a fantastically put piece that extends thanks to the Most High. You can say it is a gospel song, or more specifically a praise song. ‘Hw3’ featuring Bisa Kdei (again) follows as song number 11.

On this note let me add that from track 11 to 13 are all bonus tracks so hurray for the album purchaser. ‘Steady’ featuring Ice Prince is in 12 and the remix to ‘Mo’ ends the album. The ‘Mo Remix’ is a very lovely made even more super by gospel artist Joy Blessing.

This might not be the superlative review of the Unveiling album that you were expecting but it should do well to drive you to buy the album and review it for yourself.
