He noted that the days that musicians dwelt on popularity, but wallowed in poverty were over, adding that Ghanaian musicians should work closely with all the stakeholders to create jobs for the players in the industry.
The executive producer credited with a number of albums stressed that Ghanaian musicians need platforms on the international music scene to promote Ghanaian music and culture, to enable Ghana to meet the challenges ahead when it comes to music.

He, however, called on the stakeholders in the music industry in Ghana to put their differences behind them and work as a team to move the music industry forward.

According to him, the in-fighting within the industry would not help the industry to grow.

He mentioned that Ghanaian musicians have a lot to gain if only they would come together and work as a team.

He urged Ghanaian musicians to begin to cooperate and support the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) in the execution of its mandated tasks to enable it to perform effectively.

“Though GHAMRO may have its shortcomings with the Rex Omar-led administration which is, of course, common in all human institutions, they must be encouraged to do better and at least complement their effort at being able to disburse what they received,” he stressed.
