The wings of creativity should not be clipped – eShun to Neat FM panellists

The latest backlash has seen the “Akyia” hitmaker come out with a reaction

Budding Ghanaian female vocalist, Ethel Eshun aka eShun, has expressed her disappointment in events that ensued between herself and a panel during an interview.

She disclosed that the session was a review of her latest controversial single ‘Koti Ma No” which literally translates as “pluck it for the person”.

After questioning her on the motive behind the song, she revealed that a comment a panellist passed after her explanation got her vexed and to top it off, she wasn’t given the opportunity to speak after the review was done.

They gave the excuse of lack of time after a panellist told her that she was finding difficulty in coming clean with the explanation of the motive behind her wordplay in the song.

The latest backlash from some panelists on Accra-based Neat FM has seen the “Akyia” hitmaker come out with a reaction.

In a self-recorded video, on the Instagram page of the musician, she unashamedly tells the panelists on the show and all those who have a problem with her new style of music to let her be because she is just being creative.

According to her, “Creativity should not be clipped. Its wings shouldn’t be clipped and boxed all in the name of releasing songs that will make a few people who see themselves as holier than thou happy”.
