The chief executive officer (CEO) of Excess 24 Ventures Jonathan Addo Kuffour, who is also an artiste manager, has accused event organizers in Ghana of being unfair to female artistes in the country.
He claimed that event organizers are so biased towards female artistes that almost every event is dominated by male performers.
Jonathan Addo Kuffour also known in the music scene as Excess No Doubt did not mention the names of the event organizers he was referring to.
He told this writer that the trend of sideling females has not been helpful to the cause of women empowerment in the music industry and explains why his company will soon host an all-female concert in Accra and Kumasi.
The concert, according to him, the all-female concert which will be held annually, is aimed at bringing together the crème de la crème of Ghanaian female artistes on one stage to treat their fans to some thrilling performances.
He added that part of the proceeds from the show will be used to support a breast cancer awareness project.
