I let Emma quit because of Kuami Eugene, he will win a Grammy – Rev. Abbeam

Kuami Eugene visits Rev Abbeam's church in London and leads worship

Multiple Award-winning prince of Ghanaian Highlife Music, Kuami Eugene, paid a visit to God’s Solution Center in London, England, a church headed by renowned worship minister, Rev. Dr. Abbeam Ampomah Danso.

He didn’t leave until he had stirred up hearts in a moment of deep worship together with Rev. Abbeam and his daughter, Emma Abbeam- former MTN hitmaker season 5 contestant and ex Highly Spiritual music signee.

The Man of God upon introducing Kuami unto the podium, admitted that Kuami visited him in his London residence and promised him that he would be in church on that fateful Sunday rather than go clubbing, as his other friends were doing at that moment.

He continued, “people think that celebrities like Kuami Eugene don’t have anything to do with God but Kuami loves God. He has a good heart”.

He further prophesied over Kuami Eugene after he led a series of worship songs and confirmed that he had so far accrued 15 awards saying, ‘I see Grammy coming your way”.

Right before Emma joined them on the platform, Rev Abbeam revealed that he took Emma out of the MTN hitmaker season 5 competition because he felt that the likes of Kuami who was in the same competition needed the opportunity more than a privileged UK-based Emma who was on her way to win the competition.

In a twenty-three minute nine second video, the popular Ghanaian highlife singer together with Rev. Abbeam Ampomah Danso and gospel songstress Emma led the congregation through a very powerful worship session that showed how great God is.

With most of the songs being sung in Twi, Kuami Eugene, who began as Eugene Marfo, the visionary behind the Eugene Marfo Ministries- a gospel music ministry aimed at sensitizing the worldly about Jesus’ second coming and the need to repent, showed how grateful he is to God as most of his songs were themed on God’s deliverance and gratitude.
