Before the event, several pundits and followers rooted for the female artiste who has been phenomenal throughout the year.

Speaking after receiving the award, the singer mentioned that her family had been supportive of her and that has propelled her to a higher height.

She acknowledged the role of the Church of Pentecost and the likes of legendary Gospel great, Elder Akwasi Mireku, in her upbringing in the music ministry.

Diana beat off stiff opposition from Joe Mettle, KODA, Obaapa Christy and Akesse Brempong.
