CEO of Bony To The World Records and father of the late artist, Ebony, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, a.k.a Starboy, has announced the signing on of his latest female artiste.
This follows a delay in the release of recorded songs by the ’90s bad gyal’ before her demise, as promised by her father.
He has come out to state via a write up that he overlooked the necessity of signing on and announcing his new artiste up until now and hence, had to see to its fruition before he went ahead to release the songs.
According to Starboy, his new signee would be to some level a befitting replacement to the vibe that Ebony gave Ghanaians while alive and would further perform Ebony’s songs to the amazement of all as well.
One could easily admit that she strikes an interesting resemblance to the ‘Queen’.
Some critics have met this news with mixed reactions, saying that the father is preying too much on her daughter’s success while alive which is a disrespect to her legacy.
Others see this to be a wise move in resurrecting the whole ‘Ebony’ vibe and music and a smart way to keep her legacy. What do you think?
