Ace Rapper, Okyeame Kwame, will be launching his Made in Ghana album on April 20, 2019 at +233 Jazz Bar and Grill at 8pm for a cool rate of GhS 100.

The night will see performances from the likes of Okyeame Kwame himself, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Kurl songx and Ayesem.

Other artistes to perform are Feli Nuna, Afriyie, Abiana, Wulomei, the Kwan pa and Wiyaala.

The Made in Ghana project is to highlight the virtues of all groups of people in Ghana across the various regions and to also encourage Ghanaians to be proud of their culture and heritage.

Basically, it seeks to promote local trade and nationalism. The songs represent the various regions in terms of concept and the artistes featured.

The music videos of the songs will showcase some tourist sites in Ghana as Kwame’s contribution to marketing Ghana’s tourist sites. This is part of his resolve to promote tourism through the arts.

Already, two songs have been released off the album; the theme song, ‘Made in Ghana’, which features KiDi and ‘Bra’ which he did with Wutah Afriyie.

After the album launch, music lovers will have a tastes of the other great songs on the album on the various online music stores.

Other songs on the album are Dia Tina ft Wiyaala & King Ralph, Bolgatanga Girl ft Abiana & Atongo Zimba, Yenzima ft Fancy Gadam and Nkunim ft Feli Finest & Senku.

The rest are 1956 ft Kurl Songs & Ayesem, Ino Be My Matter ft. Kuami Eugene, Kpa ft. Wulomei and Melowo ft. Feli Nuna. The album will also be available on Aftown.

C.E.O. of Sarkcess Music and influential Ghanaian rap talent, Sarkodie, has been in the news lately and this time around, he’s been spotted buying his first locally manufactured Kantanka Automobile.

Sarkodie acquired one of the Kantanka cars following a visit to the automobile company as a gesture of patriotism and the belief in the potentials of Ghanaians as a whole.

In an Instagram post, the rapper described his visit as an “eye opener”, and called on Ghanaians to support local manufacturers.

“My visit to @Kantankaautomobile was an eye opener!!! Thanks @kwadwosafo_jnr for the invite… We all hypocrites (myself included) but the good news is, it’s never our fault it was programmed for us to be like that,” Sarkodie wrote.

“The innovative inventions by the Legend Apostle Sarfo Kantanka will blow your mind… I left the place speechless and with a lot of guilt… We producing all these in my country but not too proud to support it but we kill to give BMW the license to operate and dominate our territory.”

He added that he purchased one of the Kantanka vehicles after visiting the local automobile company.

“It’s a matter of time. Africa is blessed! Please go on the net, read and watch all about ‘Kantanka’. Anyways I just ordered my first Katanka Automobile.”
