Several of Ghana’s biggest names in the Afrobeat genre would be convening at the PlayStation theater on the 6th of April to thrill music lovers to the best of tunes from the African continent.

Organised by INSIDE LLC, SAFCOM Group in partnership with ELITE Group, the Afrobeats To The World Concert will be on record as the heaviest lineup for a single event outside the shores of Ghana.

The event hosted by Ebaby and Kwasi Beast would mark the first time any Ghanaian artist is playing at the over 2000 seater auditorium inside New York city.

Award-winning Afropop group R2Bees who recently dropped their chart topping Site 15 are performing live on the show as well as BET Awards nominee, Kwesi Arthur.

Other performers include sensational vocalist King Promise, Darkovibes, KiDi, Kuami Eugene — who has just been nominated in the Artiste of the Year category of the prestigious 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019.

The ultimate Afrobeat party night will also have heavyweight rap artistes, Medikal and Joey B on the bill to entertain patrons to the best of their abilities.

The maiden edition of the Afrobeats to the World is a musical concert planned to provide top quality performance experience, fun-charged party atmosphere for urban music lovers to meet and party with their favorite Afrobeat artistes.

Mr Drew delivers with 'Gimme Love', a mid tempo Afrobeats love song

Official DJs on the night would be DJ Mensa, DJ Akuaa, DJ Nitamare, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Tunez.

C.E.O. of Sarkcess Music and influential Ghanaian rap talent, Sarkodie, has been in the news lately and this time around, he’s been spotted buying his first locally manufactured Kantanka Automobile.

Sarkodie acquired one of the Kantanka cars following a visit to the automobile company as a gesture of patriotism and the belief in the potentials of Ghanaians as a whole.

In an Instagram post, the rapper described his visit as an “eye opener”, and called on Ghanaians to support local manufacturers.

“My visit to @Kantankaautomobile was an eye opener!!! Thanks @kwadwosafo_jnr for the invite… We all hypocrites (myself included) but the good news is, it’s never our fault it was programmed for us to be like that,” Sarkodie wrote.

“The innovative inventions by the Legend Apostle Sarfo Kantanka will blow your mind… I left the place speechless and with a lot of guilt… We producing all these in my country but not too proud to support it but we kill to give BMW the license to operate and dominate our territory.”

He added that he purchased one of the Kantanka vehicles after visiting the local automobile company.
