Today, Monday the 24th of March 2019, marks the opening of voting lines for the 20th anniversary edition of the VGMA and it features a new channel allowing for the public to vote online.
This new development allows for only Vodafone customers to vote via text message as done in previous years and redirects all other voters without a Vodafone line to vote on an online portal; www.votevgma.com.
This is to further allow for a more global involvement in the voting process as other Ghanaians in the diaspora and lovers of Ghanaian music all over the world have been left out from exercising their votes all this while.
Following the unveiling of nominees for this year’s edition, organizers have announced the processes involved in voting for your desired nominee across all 25 categories.
