Ghanaian feminine vibes on International Women’s Day

Annually, the 8th day of March is marked as International Women’s Day around the world.

We mark this day by reminiscing some of the top Ghanaian songs sung by women that soothed our ears and warmed our hearts in the past year.

Several songs churned out by our local divas over the past 12 months have proved that they’ve got what it takes to square up with their rather dominating male counterparts in the Ghanaian music scene.

Let’s appreciate our women on such a day as this with these selections of music brewed from the talented Ghanaian feminine soul.

Diana Hamilton – Mo Ne Yo

Efya – Mamee

Wendy Shay – Uber Driver

MzVee – Come And See My Moda

Ebony – Konkonsa Police

NanaYaa – Woman Power

S3fa – Odo Yewu

Rashelle Blue – My Thing

Abigail Coleman – Me Kra

Shegah – Let’s Go(Remake)
