Nominees for the second 3 Music Awards will be announced on all media platforms today 1st February 2019.
This was communicated at a press briefing to officially start off the catalogue of events that will lead up to the final awards night on the 30th of March 2019.
Making the announcement Sadiq Abu, CEO & spokesperson for the 3 Music Awards, stated that due to prior research conducted, there will be improvements and new additions to the awards scheme.
Flanked by some of the board members, he listed some of the new additions/changes to expect in this year’s 3 Music Awards as follows:
i. Voting via social media hashtags.
ii. Some changes to some award categories
iii. The addition of some new categories.
The nominees for the 2019 3 Music Awards will be announced on Joy FM in the evening of 1st February, 2019 and also on social media via the award’s official handles; @3MusicAwards.

Adjudged as one of the events of the year, the 2018 3 Music Awards received great reviews from both artist and music fans for its organisation and set up during its inaugural event at the Fantasy Dome.
