Kuami Eugene & Patapaa make Ghana proud in Sierra Leone

It was a total shutdown last weekend in Sierra Leone as Ghana’s ‘Rockstar’ Kuami Eugene and refined ‘One-Corner’ hit maker, Patapaa, took to the stage to represent Ghana and thrill over 40,000 music lovers.

Contrary to how several of our finest acts were treated in Nigeria some months ago, the Sierra Leoneans that trooped the national stadium to witness the ECOWAS festival (Ecofest) were simply blown away by our artists.

The Ecofest attendees screamed out back to back hits of Kuami Eugene’s songs and got thrilled by the signature dance moves of Patapaa’s One Corner and the Akwaaba dance.

The event which was powered by Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment (KME) also hosted several other headline artiste including Patoranking and Mayorkun from Nigeria.

As well as Salon, Arkman, Dallas B, Drizilik, Empress P, Kao Denero, Boss LAJ, LXG among other acts across the continent of Africa who equally delivered energetic performances.

Well, what can we say?

There’s a fresh breed of Ghanaian local brands with a global appeal that are breaking barriers in the music scene like no body’s business.

It’s your loss if you intentionally act otherwise when good music brewed from the Ghanaian pot is being served to you.
