Becca opens, Kora, a body & health spa in Accra

All over the world, musicians are expanding their horizons beyond album sales, live shows and merchandising as they venture into other viable businesses that include clothing lines, fragrance lines, culinary firms, real estates, food and many others.

Multiple award-winning songstress, Becca, in a bid to showcase her entrepreneurial acumen and introduce some innovation in that field of business, has opened a new Spa – a Body & Health Treatment Center in Accra called KORA!

Located at East Legon, opposite the A&C Shopping Mall, KORA will provide quality service in massage and facial treatment, acrylic nails, manicure, pedicure, threading, waxing, and a barbering shop.

To cater to its clientele, the Spa also has a Smoothie Bar, put in place to soothe clients as they come through to enjoy the experience at the state-of-the-art wellness center.

The Spa, officially launched over the weekend, was hosted by popular Broadcast Journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah and attended by the likes of Efya, Trigmatic, Jackie Appiah and others.

“KORA Spa is an initiative that has gone through the finest of planning, coordination and implementation. We are confident not only to refine how the business of hospitality in Spas should be done but we believe it will serve a good avenue to create jobs for any hardworking and focused Ghanaian,” the Zylofon Music- recording artiste stated at the launch.

KORA is opened from Monday to Sunday.

C.E.O. of Sarkcess Music and influential Ghanaian rap talent, Sarkodie, has been in the news lately and this time around, he’s been spotted buying his first locally manufactured Kantanka Automobile.

Sarkodie acquired one of the Kantanka cars following a visit to the automobile company as a gesture of patriotism and the belief in the potentials of Ghanaians as a whole.

In an Instagram post, the rapper described his visit as an “eye opener”, and called on Ghanaians to support local manufacturers.

“My visit to @Kantankaautomobile was an eye opener!!! Thanks @kwadwosafo_jnr for the invite… We all hypocrites (myself included) but the good news is, it’s never our fault it was programmed for us to be like that,” Sarkodie wrote.

“The innovative inventions by the Legend Apostle Sarfo Kantanka will blow your mind… I left the place speechless and with a lot of guilt… We producing all these in my country but not too proud to support it but we kill to give BMW the license to operate and dominate our territory.”

He added that he purchased one of the Kantanka vehicles after visiting the local automobile company.

Becca chalks 10 years in the music industry this year

“It’s a matter of time. Africa is blessed! Please go on the net, read and watch all about ‘Kantanka’. Anyways I just ordered my first Katanka Automobile.”
