There will be a heavy presence of Ghanaians at the 2018 African Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA) as 21 Ghanaian artists have been nominated for the award scheme.
Leading with 3 nominations is 2017 VGMA Artiste of the Year Joe Mettle who bagged nominations in the Male Artiste of Excellence, Album of Excellence and the Song of Excellence categories.
Diana Hamilton and Ohemaa have also been nominated in the Female Artiste of Excellence category with Niiella, Kobby Mantey and Calvis Hammond getting nominated for the Breakthrough Artiste of Excellence category.

The African Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA) is the premier gospel event that recognises the immense gospel talent that exists within the African gospel music and Christian media fraternity and beyond, and honours and rewards them accordingly at its annual awards event.
The awards seek to unearth, encourage, motivate and inspire musicians and media outfits to aspire to attain excellence in their ministries and businesses and to be of better service to the kingdom.
