Reggie N Bollie “Uncommon Favours” album is favourite of Ghanaians

Afrobeat/Dancehall and Pop kings – Reggie ‘N’ Bollie finally released their long-awaited debut album ‘Uncommon Favours’ via their independent label F.R.O.D Music on December 15th 2017.

2015 X Factor favourites Reggie n Bollie have come a long way since being mentored by Cheryl on the ITV show. After signing with Simon Cowell on his label Syco Music in January 2016 the pair released their smash hit, “NEW GIRL” which peaked at no.5 in the UK iTunes Charts, and number 26 in the Official UK Charts.

It was all good but the guys had another more authentic musical journey in mind. Since their split with Syco Music early 2017,  Reggie ‘N’ Bollie have not looked back.

Confidently and independently they set about creating their very own record label F.R.O.D Music, releasing tracks like “THIS IS THE LIFE”” which saw the duo make a bold move and immersing themselves in their roots of Reggae/Dancehall and more urban sound with soca undertones.

A serious step forward! Since then the guys have had a series of independent hit singles under their belt which all form their debut masterpiece ‘Uncommon Favours’. This was their dream and they are very proud indeed their hard work and diligence has come to fruition.

The album features 16 songs including infectious hits “BUMAYE” and “ON THE FLOOR” Feat. Dancehall superstar Beenie Man. Not only that it also features the surprise track “ALL THE WAY UP” featuring Nigerian music legend, 2Face Idibia.

Along with a very serious mission statement ‘Intro’ the guys have collaborated with the likes of former X Factor stars Che Chesterman, Lauren Murray and many others.

Since the release of their album which also featured award-winning Ghanaian group WUTAH & Wiyaala, their fans have gone crazy! So diverse is the album that, it has been difficult for music connoisseurs and fans alike to choose a favourite song from the album.

Their Ghanaian fans have also been raving about their afrobeat-flavoured song‘Toast & Party’ featuring Wutah, which has become a of many! Information reaching us indicate that they might soon be shooting a video for the song in Ghana with one of the acclaimed Ghanaian video directors! No names mentioned yet though.

This album means everything to Reggie N Bollie. Their feeling of achievement is perhaps best illustrated by their own track ‘DREAMS’ Feat. Che Chesterman. Dreams have indeed come true, for a pair of truly hard-working and exceptional artistes: Reggie n Bollie!

Not only has 2017 been a rollercoaster of recording, starting a fresh new label and releasing new music authentic to their style and on their own terms; it has also been a hugely successful year in other ways too.

The guys have had the great honour of being appointed as “Ghana Tourism Ambassadors for UK & Europe”, won the “Best UK Music Artist Award” at the 2017 IARA Awards (International Achievements Recognition Awards) and Best UK-Based Ghanaian International Artist 2017 award at the recent Ghana Music awards UK held in London.

It is likely they will be embarking on their own headline tours across the UK as well as other parts of the world. Reggie N Bollie are simply focused and unstoppable! 2018 is looking very bright for these guys, it seems it’s going to be a year of more ‘Uncommon Favours’!! Watch this space!
