BLAQ Standard to breathe life into the Ghanaian Entertainment Industry

The Ghanaian entertainment sector is about to witness a dramatic change as ‘BLAQ Standard’ prepares to launch the biggest entertainment outfit in Ghana.

According to BLAQ Standard, Ghana abounds with talents however, the grooming and managing of artistes, movie actors / actresses and more has been a major problem over the years.

CEO of BLAQ Standard, Clement Tetteh Nyanyo nicknamed ‘Kwakwe’ indicated that they are coming in to change the status-quo with professionalism and pragmatism.

However, Clement Tetteh Nyanyo indicated to us that they will not sign any big name in the industry but will rather focus on grooming young talent into brands that will be appealing to the world.

The label has already signed two young artistes, a rapper and a singer who are currently going through a grooming process to produce some hits before the launch of the label later this year.

BLAQ Standard held an strictly by invitation media at the premises of their East Legon, Accra office some weeks back.

The launch was to announce their emergence in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

Another side that Clement Tetteh Nyanyo touched on about BLAQ Standard is that it’s also a multimedia firm with a wide range of expertise including, creative arts, Public Relation, Branding and Communication, Events, Audio-Visual Production, Innovation and Marketing.

For now BLAQ Standard will soo outdoor 4 promising artistes, Kojo K, Irene, Kasahere Nana who are Ghanaians and Ijeku, a Nigerian as well as Sound Engineer and Record Producer Agyingo.

Clement mentioned that BLAQ Standard should not be regarded as a mere Artistes Management outfit but also a full record label and they will be venturing into the movie sector soon.

Going back into the past, Clement has managed renowned afropop duo Ruff & Smooth (Bullet & Akhan), Stay Jay, Barima, Shegee some years back. He has also pivotal with R2Bees, Criss Waddle, Don Jazzy, Patoranking, Kwaku Manu and many more

Clement is currently married to Todjeh Vida Patricia and has been blessed with two kids namely Giovanni Tetteh Nyanyo and Jehiel Tetteh Nyanyo.

Many important entertainment figures cover up their personal life from tabloid news and devoted fans and this is the case of Clement. His reasons are simply to protect his personal privacy or idol status. It has been rumoured that he decide to have a secret wedding when he became a house hold as one of the pillars behind Ruff N Smooth.

BLAQ Standard is here to stay, home to all talents and we have bigger projects in 2018 and beyond.
