Ghana’s Emmanuel Smith in semi-finals at The Voice UK

UK-based Ghanaian singer, Emmanuel Smith Tali, with the stage name Emmanuel Smith, has advanced to the semi-final stage of the ongoing ‘The Voice UK’ singing competition.

He earned the slot after delivering a soul-stirring ministration of multiple grammy-nominated Gospel artiste, Travis Greene’s ‘Made a Way’ and was met with a resounding standing ovation by the audience.

Fellow UK-based Ghanaian artiste, Reggy Zippy, took to his Facebook wall to congratulate and cheer on the Ghanaian talent.

Emmanuel is a 29-year-old Gospel Music singer from London and  can often be found gigging around the capital. He relocated from Ghana at the age of 13 and has since followed his passion of godly-inspired music.

The Voice 2019 started on Saturday, January 5th and is characterized by contestants taking part in blind auditions and the judges spinning round in their chairs if they want to mentor them.

The judges for this year’s edition  are Olly Murs, Will.I.Am, Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones.
