Stormzy wins 2 and lights up Brit Awards 2018

UK-based Ghanaian Grime artist Stormzy last night at the O2 Arena won a Brit Award 2018.

The multiple award winning Stormzy clinched the Brit Awards 2018 for the best British male and best British album for Gang Signs and Prayer beating pop artiste Ed Sheeran to it with his debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.

This caps off a great 2017 for the UK-based artiste of Ghanaian descent after he also won the BET Awards for Best International Act: Europe and the MOBO Awards for Best Grime Act, Best Male Act, & Best Album.

Stormzy later on the awards night delivered a stunning performance that will be talked about for years on end. Standing bare-chested on stage with water dripping on him like rain drops, the Grime artist touched on a whole lot of issues including reminding UK Prime Minister Theresa May of her handling of the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy.
