Blackway, real name Yaw Sintim-Misa, the son of Ghanaian king comedian and satirist, Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) has put pen to paper to the record deal by Republic Records, a division of the Universal Music Group.

Blackway was born in Brooklyn, United States of America but grew up in Ghana till the age of 13 when he had to join his mom in the US.

He started pursuing music at the age of 15. With KSM as a dad, one is assured of the unusual support when one chooses to pursue creative arts as a career.

This was not missing in his life as praise from his family and friends were the necessary backbone that pushed him to continue making music, leading to approval from the music industry people.

People around him and happenings in life inspire his influence his song writing skills which was perfectly exhibited when he featured on M.anifest’s – Never Feel song.

The little known Ghanaian will move to Los Angeles next week as part of the deal to promote and grow his craft.
