UK-based Ghanaian royalty, international singer and performer, Princess Akua Ohenewaa Asieanem of Kokobin, popularly known as Stephanie Benson, was in the studios of Ghanamusic.com for a 1 on 1 exclusive interview.

Tagged as the queen of jazz, she revealed the very genesis of her interest in music from a young age of 4 years when her dad, a pharmaceutical millionaire, began teaching her how to play the piano.

She became interested in playing the piano after her father often played the instrument to her before bedtime.

She added the violin and cello when she was enrolled at the National Academy of Music at the age of eight in the year 1975.

The ‘One More’ hitmaker further took us on a journey of her reigning years as a highly sought after star while in the UK signed unto Stockade and Waterman, a huge record label in the UK under the stage name, Princess.
