Ghana's Shadrack Danso enters finals of GMA reality TV competition

The talented act needs Ghanaians to rally behind him to vote till he wins.

Fast-rising gospel music minister, Shadrack Danso, who is currently representing Ghana in the Gospel Music Africa reality show in Nigeria has made it to the finals of the competition.

After 8 crucial weeks of critiquing various performances of the 30 contestants from the length and breadth of Africa, they arrived at the final 6 contestants ready to battle it out for the ultimate crown.

Ghana’s very own representative and successful finalist, Shadrack Danso, has been the music director for the teens chapel of Calvary Baptist Church Awoshie for over a decade.

He is a lead singer and worship leader at his home church where the psalmist anointing was birthed and nurtured.

So far, he has won the hearts of viewers and judges on the show with his weekly delivery of power-packed performances.

Unfortunately, mere love for his artistry won’t win him the ultimate crown except Ghanaians rally behind him to vote till he wins, as the winner in the finals is solely dependant on the highest votes.

He has an upper hand against several other contestants who are Nigerians because he is the only Ghanaian in the competition.

About Gospel Music Africa:

In today’s world, there is a quest among most young Christians to explore their talents and be identified as celebrities. This largely due to the non-availability of a gospel music platform in Africa for self-discovery.

Young Christians have become susceptible to the clarion call of alcoholic, sacrilegious and lewd sexuality driven reality TV shows which leads to lots of social irresponsibility among young people in Nigeria, and Africa at Large.

It is for these reasons and many more that MFI Xquisite Koncepts Ltd., (a total production outfit specialized in public relations planning and execution, events planning/management) have come up with the Gospel Music Africa (GMA) reality TV competition.

GMA is the first of its kind and the biggest music reality competition in Africa.

It is not a denominational spur, but an act towards inspiring and nurturing young, talented gospel singers in the spirit of true praise and worship, as we seek to celebrate Jesus the more.

It is a priestly obligation to herald the time for gospel singers and worshipers to be heard. We believe that through this; “…The Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations” of Africa. (Isaiah 61:11b)

The finals will be aired this Sunday on DSTV Channel 341, 343, TBN Africa, TV www.gmaetv.com and on Faith TV.
