Born William Gorman in the city of Cape Coast, ChaJah Hims was raised in Kumasi-Tafo before moving to the United States.
In the present day, ChaJah is now an Independent Artiste, who acknowledges that “growing up in the hoods and streets made him go harder with his God given talent”.
“I started writing my own funny rhyming lyrics at age 6, I fell in love with Hiplife, Rap and Hiphop music listening to local and foreign arts” ChaJah alludes.
In primary school he was the head of entertainment for being Influenced by music and entertainment.
He later released a couple of songs, these songs made him love what he was doing during which time his family and friends recognized the “Jay Z” in me.
Being an upcoming artist hasn’t been easy as we keep pushing to the limit.
On how he got his name, ChaJah said “I’m mad Highly Influenced Music Supporter that’s why I’m HIMS and putting God first made me ChaJah (Child of God)”.
“I released my debut single #WeHere prod by Fortune Dane early this year which still making waves globally, after WeHere I plan on releasing an EP with 4 tracks “Found Tapes”.
