Queendalyn Yurglee admits to contemplating suicide

Queendalyn Yurglee, a songwriter, poet, gospel recording artist, an in-depth worshipper and CEO of The Glory Ministry wanted to commit suicide and end it all on several occasions.

After her journey singing with some of Africa’s best and biggest gospel musicians, Queendalyn Yurglee releases her first single titled “You Are God”.

This song was born from a place of worship during a dark period in her life when she gave up on life and God due to extreme difficult circumstances that led her to contemplate suicide multiple times but was saved each time she attempted it.

The “Arkbearer” as popularly known by her church, friends and family, she started her creative journey in music at age 13 in her local church, as the youngest member of the choir at the time.

Queendalyn has actively served as a worship leader in TREM (The Redeemed Evangelical Mission); a front liner in the worship team of Hillsong London and worship leader at the Maker’s house Chapel Hope arena, Ghana.

Known for her smooth velvet voice, she has rented out her voice as a backing vocalist to multiple award-winning artists such as Sammie Okposo, Sunny Neji, Tim Godfrey and Xtreme crew, Mike Aremu, Sonnie Badu, among several others both on stage and on album recordings.

Furthermore, solely by the grace of God, she has shared the same stages with world renowned artists such as Angelique Kidjo, Israel Houghton, Donnie Mcclurkin, Hugh Masekela, Kim Burrell and many more.

Queendalyn has opened prominent events across Africa and the UK, as well as ministered at various programmes and conferences across the globe. Growing up in a musical family, her interest for music was always encouraged.

She went ahead to get a degree in Business Administration, a professional diploma in Music and a Master’s degree in Business Management in the United Kingdom.

She gathers her deep passion and versatility from a combination of British, Ghanaian and Nigerian artistic vibes, as these 3 countries are imprinted in who she is as a gospel artiste and experienced worship leader.

When she leads worship, the heavens are opened up and God’s Glory is evidently manifested. Watch out for more amazing and spirit-filled tunes from this woman of God.
