Evergreen Hiplife group, VIP, is gearing up to make 2012 another year of heights and breakthroughs as they are getting ready to hit parts of the globe, specifically the United State of America, with their ‘Vision Tour’.
It would be the biggest tour of their musical career so far and it is scheduled to take off in March and run till June.
They will be in cities such as New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Oakland, Texas, Maryland, Boston and more. The tour will however be climaxed in Ghana with other shows across the country.
They will not just perform for a myriad of music fans in the US, but will also screen documentaries of the group and how Hiplife started with them, as well as their contribution to the music genre’s growth in Ghana.
Most of the screenings, which is aimed at educating the world about Hiplife, will be done in colleges.
VIP will be on the tour with FOI, including other artistes. There is a tall list of artistes to be on the tour but currently it is only Tiffany who has been confirmed.
It’s not VIP’s first time of embarking on a world tour but such cannot be said about FOI. However preparations are in the pipeline to get the tour started.
VIP is currently Ghana Music Awards’ reigning artistes of the year and they are hoping to make further breakthroughs this year.
