The world acclaimed gospel music missionary group, Vinesong will tour Ghana this August and September as part of their 11-month annual global missionary tour around the world.

Vinesong arrived in Ghana on August 6, 2012 but continued to Nigeria, where they are leading worship at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Annual Convention, Ogun State, Nigeria between August 8 and 10, 2012.

The group returns to Ghana on August 11, 2012 to begin a month-long tour from August 12 – September 11, 2012, during which they would be ministering in concerts and meetings in at least 23 churches in Accra and Takoradi.

For those whose lives have been and continue to be impacted by life-time relevant songs like “Holy Spirit move me now”, “Let your living water flow over my soul” and “Another touch”, “When it hurts so bad” and others, this is an opportunity to have a live experience of those songs from the Vinesong.

The group was in Ghana last year for a fully-packed one month ministry tour, which took them to venues in Accra, Kumasi and Sunyani; but this time round they would mainly be in Accra, and do a brief stint in Takoradi in the West Region during the first week of September.

    >Lead Tour Organiser is Samuel Dowuona, founder and leader of Alabaster Box, and he tells Adom News the group did a special song for Ghana on their tour last year, and this year they return to Ghana with some of the freshest and anointed songs they have composed and recorded.

He said: “There will be some new songs from Vinesong’s just released CD, entitled “OUR GOD REIGNS”, and that include ’All are Triumphant’ and ‘Faith Building’. In particular “The Cross of Christ” is a Celtic marching hymn reminding us who He (God) is and also who we are.”

They have released 19 albums and several videos and represent several different nations and denominations and travel the world eleven months of the year.

Although they believe in excellence in ministry, they discourage just any form of music performance. Through worship and teaching, Vinesong encourages unity and balance in the life of the believer as a necessary requirement in the preparation for revival.

The emphasis of their ministry is on the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, exhorting the listener to discover God’s destiny for their lives.

Vinesong is able to sing in 21 different languages, but they can lead entire worship services in nine languages.

As music ministers, their missionary journeys take them on regular visits to such countries as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ghana, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lichtenstein, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA & Zimbabwe.

The members of the group are Pastor John Watson, Founder/Leaders, and an ordained pastor of the RCCG; Daniel Kok and his wife Chalene Kok (Mrs.), with baby Reuben Kok, and Rachel Gray.
