African Starbowy, Stay Jay, famous for being one of the frontrunners of the Azonto movement would on Saturday, September 22, 2012, launch another dimension of his music.
The “Shashe Wowo” rapper would on Saturday launches the video for his love number, My Baby.The Mugeez of R2BEES-assisted song was produced by Tema-based Garzy and the video directed by Jorge Freeman.
The video, managed to grab news headlines even before its completion when some construction workers at a site the 2012 VGMA New Artist of the Year was shooting the video “kidnapped” the tape that had the shot scenes.
The video when launched would be Stay Jay’s next video for his much-anticipated follow-up album, Repetition 2. The first video, Twaame lala, was released some weeks ago amidst mixed reaction from critics and fans. Some fans of Stay Jay took issued with Phamous TV (Viasat 1, Saturdays at 3pm) co-host, Kim, for criticizing the video in the video countdown segment of the show, Phamous Top 10.
The video would be launched at the plush Aphrodisiac Nite Club at 10pm. VIP, Sarkodie, R2BEES, Ruff and Smooth, Guru, Chemphe and Tiffany are some of the musicians expected to be on hand to support the Tema-based rapper.
