
It is undoubtedly the only platform where the stars come home to play and shine all night long - the annual Joy FM Nite with the Stars.
The veil of suspense covering this year’s event has finally been lifted revealing a long list of some of the country’s finest music stars, in fact the A-list, all fired up to shine brightly in the ‘skies’ of the Accra International Conference Centre come December 10.
The 2010 Joy FM Nite with the Stars is, and has always been, going to be the haven for all ye that thirst for music and a launch pad for the upcoming who want to be stars.
To wet the hungry appetites of the expectant mass already booking their seats at this year’s event, the show has been divided into three phases; Yesterday (Old), Today and the Future.
The mouthwatering list includes the evergreen, Nakorex, Ben Brako, George Darko and Wulome for the old. Surely, the artistes will definitely bring back memories; the days of the good refreshing highlife music.
For Today, there is mixed grill of performance from No Tribe, VIP, Lord Kenya, Obour and Castro, a truly unique selection of the industry’s finest when it comes to danceable non-stop music. These are show stoppers of the modern day Ghanaian music.
Joy FM’s Nite with the Stars also looks in to the future and over the years, the numerous young acts who have graced the stages of the country’s finest showpiece have gone on to be some of the country’s biggest names in music.
This year, the future has installed names of artistes who have the future in mind and are gradually cementing their names in the pages of the country’s finest. Nana Boroo, R2Bees, Ruff-N-Smooth, Iwan, Trigmatic, Efya, Scientific; these are the artistes of the future and they will all shine that night.
With this unique line up, the 2010 Joy FM Nite with the Stars is another history in the making as music lovers and star-struck will dwell at the Conference Centre to come see their favourite music makers take turns to give them a memorable night.
