Sidney, Ghana’s most controversial Hiplife artiste who has won the hearts of music lovers in Ghana and other francophone countries, will on July 1 stage a live musical concert dubbed ‘Sidney and Friends’ at the premises of JD Fast Food located at Kasoa official town.
The forecourt of JD, which has hosted a number of musical events as well as artistes, is expected to be filled with tons of music lovers who will witness the best of Sidney.
Sidney’s presence and live performance during the show, with support from his mapuka dancers from Ivory Coast, will definitely turn the whole Kasoa upside down.
The Hiplife ninja, whose live musical performance will surely keep the audience spellbound, is expected to rock the stage along with some selected Ghanaian Hiplife stars who will set the place on fire before him.
Also performing will be Nash Bonchaka, K2, Double and dancers from Ivory Coast, among others.
Known for his unique delivery and his stylish Twi, Sidney always makes an impression with his stage craft, singing and dancing skills.
Being his first show in Kasoa, Sidney has promised to rock his audience in their seats and on their feet. Blessed with an incomparably silky voice, exceptional writing and production skills, as well as showmanship and crowd pleasing dance ability, Sidney is poised to dazzle the audience come Friday, July 1.
The show forms part of activities lined up to celebrate Sidney’s 15 years in the Hiplife music scene in Ghana in August this year.
Setting the pace for the performances will however be some of the very best from the crop of Ghanaian artistes including the new face of contemporary Ghanaian music, Nana Oheneba. It has taken years for the artiste to arrive on the big stage and it seems nothing is going to deny him his moment of honour.
The show will be filled with immeasurable anticipation and the audience is promised nothing but the very best of music and entertainment, all on one stage.
Based on his commitment to promote Ghanaian and African music on the international platform, Sidney has for the past months been touring some selected African countries, where he performed to entertain his fans there.
The show is sponsored by JD Fast Food and Pink FM.
