The Third Annual football match between the Musicians Union Eleven and their Foreign based Professional players, comes off at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra on Saturday, June 27.Mr Richard Adjei Yirenkyi, Media Co-odinator of the event, who announced this in Accra on Tuesday, said the event dubbed, "The Stars Soccer Fiesta" was aimed at raising funds to support the disadvantaged in the society.
The match is also aimed at offering the players the opportunity to interact with others in the society, exchange ideas and release stress and tension after a long winding football season. Players expected to feature for the Musicians Eleven would include Samini, Obuor, Tinny, Praye, Sidney, Lord Kenya and Castro.
>He said some of the foreign-based players expected to feature include Michael Essien, Laryea Kingson, John Painstil, Ahmed Barusso and Sulley Muntari.
