MTN Ghana said it is commited to supporting talented people in the music industry.
Franklin Sowah, a representative from the marketing department, said the MTN Hitmaker reality show would continue to give up-and-coming musicians a lifeline to stardom.
He said the 13-week series, which climaxes on 05 October, would see the winner taking home GHC 100,000 and a year's promotional package while the first runner-up walks home with GHC 50,000 and a year's promotional package.
The four underground musicians competing for the final are Naterial, Chiki, Atimbila and Miriam, he said, adding that what made this competition unique is that the contestants will be performing their own compositions. Sowah said viewers can vote for their favourite performer by texting their name to MTN short code 1327.
