For music lovers who have fallen in love with the popular Nigerian song ‘Igwe’ by Midnight Crew, an opportunity has been given to see them perform live in a concert in Accra.
The concert which is billed to take place on the 11th of September at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra is being put together by Rodney World, an events organisation company based here in Accra.
The Chief Executive Officer of Rodney World, Mr. Rodney Anobakhare, told Myjoyonline that the choice of Ohene Djan Sports Stadium as the venue because the concert is expected to draw a huge crowd.
The Midnight Crew was founded on the 8th of November 2001, and has Patricia Uwaje King, Gbenga Oyebola, Odunayo Ojo and Michael Abdul as its main members.
They have enjoyed the same stage with popular gospel musicians like Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Ebenezer Obey, Kurt Karr, Lionel Peterson, Don Moen, Israel Houghton and Panam Percy Paul.
They currently have three albums to their credit; Fusion, Tungba Unlimited and currently Igwe which is making massive waves in Ghana.
Mr. Anobakhare said their show in Ghana will consist an eleven member delegation expected to touchdown in Ghana on the 10th of September.
