Imajin Advertising has announced that preparations are far advanced to stage the 2nd edition of ‘The Legends and Legacy Ball’ at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Imajin advertising last year introduced the only recognized music and legends awards concert to honour musicians who have contributed immensely to the progress of Ghana’s music industry.
The concert, which is an annual event, seeks to pay homage to music legends that have churned out good hits on the Ghanaian music scene.
The objective of the concert is to stir up the passion of the young and upcoming musicians to work hard to attain the success that the legends have attained.
The legends and legacy ball, during its maiden edition held last year, honoured Daddy Lumba, who in many regards is still relevant in the modern music history in our country. With decades of success under his belt, he continues to touch the lives of many music lovers with his songs.
Imajin advertising will on August 10, 2012 unveil the icon who will be honoured this year at the Erata Hotel at East Legon in Accra.
During the concert, the legends would be presented with plaques and other awards in recognition of their hard work, success and contribution to the entertainment industry.
Last year, the event witnessed historic live musical performances from stars like Kwaw Kese, Kofi B, Mzbel, Castro, Praye, Wutah, Kofi Nti, Felix Owusu, RANA, K. K Fosu, among others.
The question on the lips of a number of music fans is who the next legend will be.
