‘VERA’ the title of the song tells the story of a female love interest who broke D-Black’s heart after he dedicated his life, time, energy, finances and love to her. From the day of release #VERA trended on twitter for 3 days as Ghanaian twitter users kept tweeting, commenting on the 'Vera' song and playing it at all hours of the day.
VERA in 24 hours received 5,000 plus downloads on the hulkshare download website.
D-Black actually weeps on this song and is one of the most creative songs we’ve ever heard emerge from Ghana. D-Black is set to release his highly anticipated 2nd album in September ‘THE REVELATION’ this year and last weekend released the 2nd video off the album, FALLING feat. Mo Cheddah from Nigeria.
The Music Video for VERA is said to drop in June this year via D-Black’s Black Avenue Muzik label.
