The members of Vision In Progress (VIP) can be described as Ghana's leading artistes, after releasing hit after hit over the years.
They are adored by numerous fans worldwide and have established themselves as icons in the Ghanaian and African music industries. Watch I Think I Like Am by VIP
The group, which has carved a niche for itself, has been branded as one of the leading musical groups with good stage performances and choreography.
All those who had the opportunity to watch the group live on stage recently at the Conference Centre will attest to the fact that VIP is ready to take the local music industry to another level.
After taking a long hiatus to study the trend of hiplife music in Ghana, the group is back with hit songs like ‘I Think I Like Am,’ ‘Away’, and ‘Obroniwawu’.
The songs, which are currently receiving massive airplay on all the local fm stations, have caught up with a large number of music lovers in Ghana and beyond.
As soon as the album is released sometime next month, the group plans to spend the rest of the year playing gigs, which it hopes will get creative juices flowing for yet another album.
Almost all those addicted to VIP songs think its latest album is exceptionally appealing because they see traces of their own love affairs in the message of the songs.
It was astounding to see the huge crowd that greeted the group at the venues where the members exhibited their prowess as Ghana’s most acclaimed artistes.
Their gigs recently earned the members another accolade as one of the most thrilling artistes in the sub-region when they doled out gripping performances to thousands of fans during last year’s Christmas and New Year festivities.
VIP is made up of Abdul Hamidu Ibrahim (Lazzy), Emmanuel Ababio (Promzy) and Joseph Nana Ofori (Prodigal). Their initial involvement with music started way back in the early nineties, at Nima, a suburb of Accra.
