The date for John Derek Blackmore, (father of hiphop rapper, D-Black) funeral has been announced. The funeral will be held this Saturday, 28th April, 2012. D-Black's father passed away on the 14th March 2012 at the Tema General Hospital.
The late John Derek Blackmore body will be taken to his hometown in Adukrom – Akuapem on 28th April, 2012 for the burial service.
Apparently the funeral will be of a public nature before a private family gathering that will be held at his Tesano mansion.
The funeral rites will also be taking place at Cleaver House mansion which is located between TiGO head office and Calvary Methodist Church on 28th April, 2012 at 12 noon.
Followed by the Thanksgiving service on Sunday 29th April, 2012 at the All Souls Baptist Church in South La.
The late John Derek Blackmore left behind ten children namely; George Blackmore, Anthony Blackmore, Stanley Blackmore, Marian Blackmore, John Derek Blackmore Jnr., Enlgebert Blackmore, Desmond Blackmore (D-Black), Kevin Blackmore, Pamela Blackmore, Kelita Blackmore.
D-Black dedicated his latest music video, 'Falling' featuring Mo Cheddah to his late father.
