Ghana Music.com is reporting that Scientific and Nana Queen’s father has passed away.
Their father’s health has been in decline, as he was in the hospital this month.
Both Nana Queen and Scientific who are blood related siblings posted it up on their facebook pages about the death of their father.
“This is to announce the sudden death of Mr. Sonnyboy Tubman Sr., son of the late President William V .S. Tubman of Liberia, father of Nana Queen and Scientific. This sad event took place on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the ELWA Hospital in Monrovia, Liberia. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Scientific is known in real life as Sonny Jamaal Tayshaun Tubman was born in Liberia (Bong County) but has leaved his whole life in Ghana because of the war that broke out in Liberia. Managed and produced by Cheddar of Wonda World Music, Scientific, the hip hop artiste has performed with American international artistes such as Wyclef Jean F, Jay-Z, Fat Joe, Akon, Fabulous and more.
Nana Queen (Precious Jewel Tubman) got married to Nana King of Ashanti International who has churned songs for artistes such as Akon, Samini, Akyeame, Azigiza, Kokovelli, K. K. Fosu and more in 2000.
Nana Queen could be best described as a backing voice on the Ashanti International produced songs and could be heard on songs such as Linda - Batman, Akyeame - Paradise, Azigiza - Abena remix, old songs of VIP and more.
