Reggie Rockstone, acclaimed as the founder of Hip-life music in Ghana, bemoaned the neglect of Hip-life by successive governments.
“Hip-life today has not officially been endorsed by no government whether NPP or NDC. The only time they talk about hip-life is when they want you to come and speak their praises so they can win power. That is it. This is the pulse of our country”.
On the way forward, Reggie said that he wants the next president to honour Hip-life artistes who hitherto might have been on the street.
