The release of the official music video for Mzbel's 'Get Off My Bonnet' was not met with great approval by some TV stations in Ghana.
So far GTV and eTV has aired portions of the music video on their networks.
Information reaching Ghana Music.com is that the video has been banned because it will be a mockery of the Ghana Police Service.
There's a scene where a police man takes 'bribe money' from Mzbel's driver.
The video of 'Get Off My Bonnet' was shot by Steve Gyamfi of Real House Philms.
Mzbel, aged 32 and two other accomplices were arrested by officials of the Motor Transport and Traffic Unit (MTTU) for physically assaulting a uniformed policeman on official duty last year.
The musician and two others were reported to have deliberately run their Mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle with registration number GR 9470-11 into the policeman who fell on the bonnet of the vehicle They then speed off and drove for a distance, with the policeman still hooked dangerously on the bonnet while eyewitnesses screamed at the horror of what was happening.
The matter is still in court.
