One of the players in Ghana’s show business, Esther Frimpong has called on stakeholders in the music industry to come together and work toward the promotion of Ghanaian music on the Africa continent.
Esther who is an artiste manager and a public relations officer at Miracle Films said the time has come for stakeholders to organise series of seminars and workshops to upgrade the skills of Ghanaian musicians.
She expressed dismay that most Ghanaian music stars were not producing good music, all because stakeholders in the industry had failed to help develop their talents.
She told Beatwaves that as an artiste manager she has started holding meetings with some of her colleagues to find lasting solutions to the sinking image of the music industry and the problems facing some musicians.
She indicated that she is ready to invest in the music industry to create more jobs if only musicians will make themselves available for education.
She was of the view that when structures are put in place to streamline the operations of the industry Ghanaian music would be able to penetrate the international market.
She advised all stakeholders in the music industry that for them to succeed, they need to come together and work as a team to build a vibrant music industry.
