World’s number one best selling jazz artiste, Kenny G says he will return to Ghana anytime to continue with his performances if the state of affairs in the country calls for it.

According to him, it takes the support of the people in any country to perform in that country adding that he has received an incredible reception from his fans and all Ghanaians and will not hesitate to come back whenever he is invited. He said “I am flattered that people like my music; we’ve been received so well. I carry with me a great memory of Ghana”.

In an interview with Ghana’s most sought after presenter Sammy Forson on e.tv Ghana’s entertainment show Xposure, Kenny G revealed that he has been doing music since he was ten adding that “for me, my goal is to learn something more and become a better saxophone player and that’s a never-ending task”.

The Guinness World Book record holder performed to enthusiastic fans at the Crown Apartmento when he treated his fans to a collection of some of his great tracks of all time and spoke in Twi “me Twi enye papa, enso me bonbonden.

Eyi ye first show ewo Ghana, enti meni agye paa. Me da mo asi se moaba” (literally meaning that this is his first show in Ghana and he is happy about it; he’s happy that his fans came to see him).

Praises about the show lingered on the airwaves even days after the show explaining why enthusiastic fans had to stand on their feet throughout the performance just yearning for more of Kenny G.

Some of the tracks he performed included theme songs of Titanic, Days of our Lives, etc. He advised his fans to be patient in everything they are aspiring for while working hard to achieve it.
