
Ghanaian music is once again on the map. Four Ghanaian artistes have done the country proud by landing prestigious nominations in the upcoming Channel O Music Video Awards.
Jon Germain tops the list alongside fellow compatriots, D Black, Kweku T, J Town, Becca and Samini. D Black and Kweku T’s 'Breath' video got nominated for Most Gifted Hip-Hop video of the Year and also doubled up for the Most Gifted Video of the Year.
The video was directed by Phamous Philms. Jon Germain’s “In My Head” video is in the running for the Most Gifted R’ n’ B video of the Year. Becca’s fire video which also features Samini who is also up in the same category with J-Town’s Guns and Roses for the Most Gifted West Video.
Samini has also put himself up again proving his worth with a nomination in the Most Gifted Ragga dancehall video. The five artist nomination for Ghana is one of the best things to happen to out industry and we look forward to more of such news.
