Jah Mason - a.k.a "Iyah Fyah Kweku Mason" - finally would be leaving the shores of Ghana tonight. The Jamaican reggae artiste who came to Ghana on the eve of February 29, 2012 is due to catch a flight together with his publicist after staying in Ghana for 2 weeks.

Jah Mason was one of the big international acts who performed at the recently held Reggae concert at the Accra Sports Stadium by Moscow One Promotions. Mason really looks elated to have spend so much days in Ghana, which he says is his "real motherland". Recounting memories, he says Ghanaian food is totally a thing he would never forget. Quoting him from an earlier interview, Mason says, " me jus love di way Ghana peeple cook di yam and me eat wid me hand. It really feel good fi eat dat way because up in Jamaica yuh hardly find peeple eating this way. Besides, you can really feel original African cooking here in di motherland.

Even though we up deh in Jamaica cook similar things, you could see dat Ghana peeple really cook original traditional food. And me love di taste seen...Plus me born pon Wednesday so me new name is KWEKU. Same way yuh coulda call me Iyah Fyah Kweku Mason..see dat..?"

As he leaves Ghana tonight, his next concert would be in Australia where he would be sharing the same stage with Anthony B again. He shared the same stage with Anthony B here in Ghana on March 5, 2012 (into March 6, 2012) - and the two would be on same assignment in Australia.

Jah 'Kweku' Mason has really expressed joy and satisfaction about the maximum hospitality he has received from Ghana (despite the somewhat misunderstandings that came along with Anthony B and the promoter).

Jah Mason is more identified with the 'Capleton's Bobo Crew' from Jamaica known as 'David House'. He started singing under the name Perry Mason until he later changed it to Jah Mason - a real farmer. His real name is Andre Johnson.
