Obrafour, one of Ghana’s reigning rap artistes whose song ‘Kaseibo’ became an instant hit, recently declared that A-Plus’ ‘Konkonsa’ is not an issue to him.
He said, “I don’t have a problem with A-Plus and therefore the song is not an issue. Ghanaians should enjoy it”, he said.
The ‘Rap Sofour’ was however not pleased with the fact that the song lacked originality and also attacked his person, his marital life and kids.
Speaking to myjoyonline.com, Obrafour noted, “I am an introvert and I like my life to be the way it is. What is marriage? Is it everybody who marries and comes out with it? The fact that you are married does not make you responsible”.
Obrafour revealed that he had already dealt with issues concerning his marriage and twin kids years ago, so he does not see why it should crop up again. He said some people are paranoid and that they are running away from their own shadows.
He was pleased with the fact that A-Plus and his guests spoke their minds, describing it as democracy.
The ‘Rap Sofour’ went on to say that his song ‘Kasiebo’ was a statement of fact and not a jab at anybody, “Kasiebo was a statement of fact, it wasn’t a jab.
If it was a jab, I wouldn’t have come this soft”. Explaining further, Obrafour said after the release of ‘Kasiebo’ he got text messages threatening his life and career; “I had text messages saying they will kill me, with others saying they will end my career, but I know God is my protector”.
