"If you don't have good earphones or a very good woofer then you should probably get a new fix before I drop my new joints this week...." Kaakie coaxes

Kaakie - the fast-growing and hottest Female Dancehall singjay from Ghana is due to drop 2 new songs this week.

"Top Gyal Time" and "DC Tun Up" are the titles of the new songs; both songs were produced by the renowned Dansoman-based sound engineer, JmJ Baby (who also doubles as Kaakie's Manager).

Though the songs have not been released yet, there's heightening tension among Kaakie's cyber fans - on FACEBOOK and TWITTER - who just can't wait the next minute to get the songs.

Ghamaicans Magazine had the opportunity to listen to both songs just after it was recorded in JMJ Baby studio.

"Top Gyal Time" is a completely 'sick' tune; it is no doubt that this joint will rapidly pick up in the clubs and at the parties owing to the danceable and hot tempo with which it comes with. This song definitely is a higher version of her earlier song "Too Much". With rich blend of lyrics under her voice, Kaakie brags more about her superiority over the 'other girls' (female singers).

The intro for this song opens with the lines..."Ah Top Gyal Time. Pack up dem chaff gyal dem!" Kaakie continues to ride through the beat with her carefully laid lines as she tickles the 'other girls' again with a phrase like...."Queen Diva! Me ah di gyal yuh man dem a pree fah". Yep, she sang in Patois for real, just like she did with her earlier 3 singles.

Matching her sweet voice with another creative beat by JMJ Baby is the second song titled "DC Tun Up" (which could also mean as "Dansoman Turn Up") is basically a song Kaakie has done purposely to revere Dansoman - her residential community. She sounds more erotic in this one (unlike she sounds in "Top Gyal Time" - with an authoritative voice).

"I know these new songs are sure hit songs and I know my fans will love it. It hasn't been easy coping with school and doing music at the same time but I'm managing. I have very creative folks in my team, I mean my record label XTRA LARGE MUSIC - who are always there to help me come out with the best. Apart from my Management, I will also like to thank Lingua Kat, one of the staunch members of my High Grade Family squad who is always there to help me ride di riddims. I thank all my fans across the globe - the ones in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Australia, Canada, USA, UK, Germany, Senegal, Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, Trinindad and Tobago and elsewhere. I very much thank all the DJs and show presenters who keep me on replay. I'm not stopping here. I need to push in more and deliver better so I'm still working. Need I say more? Just keep your eyes on my FACEBOOK and TWITTER pages for the download links. Make sure you keep your ears close to radio this week. Kaakit up!!!" - she corroborates.
