Diamond releases hit single

The Sensational Diamond Appiah on June 1 became the toast of hundreds of Ghanaian music fans when she released her hit single, ‘Kaa Fe Dull’.

The hit single was premiered on some selected radio stations in the UK, Canada and Nigeria.

The radio stations included Gye Nyame, GFM Radio, all in UK, Ahenfo Radio, Canada, Adeshie Radio, France and Cool FM in Nigeria.

The song, which was aired in the Big Brother house, has received a lot of airplay on all the local radio stations throughout the country.

Diamond told BEATWAVEs that the hit single was an azonto bango song with inspiring and motivational lyrics.

Her single, ‘Popping’ was nominated in the Best Female Video of the Year category last year.

Diamond is known as someone who has kept her style conservative but elegant. She always appears unique at event grounds and on stage.

Diamond revealed that her latest album, ‘Diva of all Divas’, will be launched later this year.

Currently, she is making waves on the music scene with her three singles, ‘Taste My Apple’ and ‘Popping’ and 'Kaa Fe Dull'.

Diamond has received quite a number of reviews in the music arena recently, following what pundits have described as her wild, top of the range and extreme fashion that she employs in her music.

Perhaps, what has engineered this widely held notion is the fact that many people perceive that her style is more exotic and have hence likened it to Lady Gaga’s, a pop star in the US.

The many reviews, assertions and opinions from the public, according to the hip-hop star, have helped her stay on course in her resolve to maintain what to her is her original style.
