Dadabees evolves into D2

This announcement is made by Ghana Music.com, who frequently is in contact with the D2 camp formerly known as Dadabees who have changed to D2.

D2 have yanked out Sugar and it’s now left with Genesis and Duke.

"'Twe Ben Me' was an enormous danceable hit from the "Ye Mbre (Our Time)" album but still couldn’t last that long", Genesis said.

“I feel like this is an incredible beginning for us. This has been one of the most special years of our life”, Genesis said.

Their new single ‘Chop Ur Money’, serves as one of the album’s many highlights. Penned by band-members Genesis and Duke featuring Kenzy, and produced by newcomers Dr Ray & Cash 2, the song serves as delicious slice of an African-pop song which is no doubt dent music charts.

From its production, to its vocal arrangements to its lyrical dexterity, this is a home-run of a track.

The eloquent and admirably duo now known as D2 is committed their new prject, Duke explains that this is a new project from D2 formerly known as Dadabees. We strongly believe in this and we hope our fans will like this new album.

The 2-man D2 is a good commercial idea, and these young lads do have vocal and dance appeal. The style of hit music is here, and their tunes have the melodies that linger in your memory after ‘pressing playing’.

However, listening to such tracks as ‘Chop Ur Money’, ‘God Dey’ and ‘Shake Ur Body’ demonstrates these young boys do have talent.
