Rapper D-Black has been awarded the Most Influential Artiste Award at the High School Honours organized at the National Theatre last week.

The award, which was received on his behalf, depicts how the rapper’s popularity has grown among high school enthusiasts.

The award, Most Influential Artiste, which D-Black won by public voting via SMS, saw him override Guru, EL, Efya, Sarkodie, and Bra Kevin Beats, who were in the same category.

The award ceremony saw performances from Anajo Black, Lil Shaker, Asaase Aban, Black ‘n’ Peach (Vodafone Icon winners), Joey B, X.O Senavoe, Pipeline, Heroes, 4Bent and many more.  The High School Honours was organized by Fountain House Ghana and sponsored by www.Vodafonelive.com.gh. The event was also supported by PHRAMES, Trace57, Gh One TV, X FM, 6miludu, Skillions Records, NU Africa, Social GH, ameyawdebrah.com and many more.
